I live in a somewhat rural county in SE VA, and was on my way home last week. I decided to forego a shortcut, and take a more scenic route. This takes me down a road which has a few very narrow roads going back into the woods. I had not driven down any of these roads, and decided to see where one went. After about a quarter mile, I started seeing a few houses, and then this appeared. What was even more amazing is there is no farming anywhere near this location.
After showing this photo to a long time resident, He told me the county had a lot of large dairy farms many years ago. Not one exist today.

I wondered that myself. Also the vents about the dormers look like they could be over bathrooms. I still don't know who owns it. A house that is behind it is a rental, and I have tried to make contact, but no one has been at home.
