~ Took a short hike (4-5 miles, maybe) with the Yorkies at the
South Slough Reserve near the
Charleston/Coos Bay area Oregon coast). Very fun, easy hike! Failed to bring the right lens for the Nikon (needed my 12-24 - had a 50!!), so the old phone worked, sorta'. The Blooming in the sky areas is from the lens cover being worn/scratched after years of pocket carry - new phone in the works!!
Them’s some big trees! Very nice. you’ll appreciate the new phone camera.

Thank you,
Wingpilot! Absolute
Rain Forest type of area there! And, yeah... this current phone, the Moto g4, should have been replaced years ago.
Now...If I could just get a newer Body fer myself......

Oh I hear you there! The gold in these so-called golden years isn’t quite as shiny as I’d like it to be.

The golden years refer to the gold that the doctors, pharmacies, and hospitals get from our failing older bodies. They should be renamed “The Rusty Years”.

That's not an error! It's ART!
Wasn't that "bloom" something we tried to achieve with petroleum jelly or white nylons? (Or buy filter$$ to do the same thing?) You now have a customized lens on your phone! 👍

Hahahaha!! That is Hilarious!! ...Back when I owned a Wedding photo biz, I spent big bucks on Pro-Mist filters for my Pentax 645 lenses, and also my Series 1 Vivitar lens (35mm film) I used for candid portraits at weddings. The Hasselblad and Rolleiflex went w/o! ...for good reason!
.... and you are right!! A very similar look!
Thank you for the good laugh here, RiJoRi!! Have a great week!
Yeah, I was (still am!) into DIM (Do It Myself) photo equipment! Though I suppose having a white stocking on your 'Blad would get you some strange looks! 🤪
