I live in a very safe area yet I turn my alarm on every night and have a 9mm pistol in the drawer of my nightstand. BUT I will never fire at someone who is running away from me. I believe deadly force is legal only if you feel your life or someone other's life is threatened. I would fire a shot or two over the intruder's head. I hope he didn't hit one of them because I wouldn't want him to get into trouble for using deadly force unnecessarily.

No, but I walk daily in GI Camos wearing a du-rag acting like I wish the heck u would. Lol

Two things come to mind:
1. Never ever fire a warning shot. You have no idea where that bullet will land especially in a city or urban area. NEVER forget you may end up needing that bullet.
2. As long as the home invaders are in his home they are STILL a threat.

I DO walk around armed, little princess. Can you give me/us one good reason why I or every other honest citizen should not IF they choose to do so?
I pray I never have to shoot anyone for any reason, EVER. But I will be damned if I will give up what is mine to some thug just because he/she demands I do. I will also do my best to put down an active shooter if necessary. YOU???
