I was keeping a sharp eye out for Bighorn Sheep on the Highline trail in Glacier National Park, hoping to maybe get some photos. About two miles down the trail these guys are opposite direction on the same trail and close. Plenty of time to get my camera ready before they decided to go around. Thats when they got really close.

The wolf was in Yellowstone, feeding on the remains of an elk. Getting in to the 100 yard limit I started taking pictures every time he looked up.

Busy trail!

Great Pics. It's rut time in the Rockies. Doubt the sheep would look so innocent today. Did you happen to get that wolf shot around the Gibbon Meadows or Elk Meadows in Sept of this year? I got one of a lone black wolf in that general area in Sept.
