A nice, almost cool early morning wildlife drive. I hope it's a harbinger of things to come!
The Merlin is still hanging around.
Not sure about the little yellow Bird. At first glance, I thought Goldfinch but...I don't think the beak is right??
And, all of a sudden, I'm getting good shots of Black Crowned Night Herons. I don't know why!

Outstanding set! Perhaps a Warbler-Orange-crowned? Thanx for sharing.

Excellent! You were ready to shoot exactly at the right moment in the the right place...astonishing serie!

Thank you, Tim! Could be a warbler of some kind. I've been through two of my four Bird field guides and I'm still looking!

Thanks very much, flyguy! I appreciate it! I have a lot of Family in New Mexico. Albuquerque, Tucumcari, Los Alamos. I love the area down around Silver City and Las Cruces ...in the winter!
