Spirit West River Lodge in Wyoming

Just wondering if anyone here has stayed the night at this locale? Looks quite cozy & welcoming from perusing their website. Not the usual run of the mill chain hotels leastwise.

I spent one night there in 2017. Could not enjoy the deck or views due to 7 people smoking on it. It is Wyoming after all, smoking is still allowed even inside restaurants there! Even the rooms were not able to escape the stench.

No smoking inside rooms, but the deck is wide open. No fun staying inside at a place like that. "Smoke free" in Wyoming is much different that most other states.

Go figure, I hadn't given that possibility any thought. Guess I just presumed it would be smoke free. At least now I know to contact them for the straight scoop on that issue before booking a room. THANKS!

OMG! I had no idea. My husband and I are militant non-smokers and that would be a major non-starter for me. No amount of Fabreze or Lysol could eliminate that stench.
