Are you sure you started with a white flower Curmudgeon, we have some of those but they’re a very delicate pink! Nicely done though, whatever colour it started off as.

That flower has really engaging structural details which shine with the monochrome treatment.

My criticism would be that that the background cactus details are also at least somewhat engaging and compete with the flower. If you want to maintain the environmental perspective I would suggest toning down that background, adding a vignette or the like. Otherwise consider cropping out most of the background to bring out the flower even more.

The outer petals are pink tipped but the main flower is bright white
