Thank you all for the comments 😊 We’re finally off the ship and at our hotel now with better WiFi access.
The fish weighed in at 77 pounds and was one of the five I caught. The others were a bit smaller (45 lbs) and we let the boat captain keep them to sell. My fishing partner and I kept our 2 biggest fish to give to the Gauguin crew and they made us seared steak’s and fresh cuts of Sushi for appetizers and dinner one night.
