I bought mine used from B&H about a year ago. It came in pristine condition.
I am what can be described as a recreational photographer who shoots mainly landscapes. Thus far the camera has delivered everything I could hope for.

I have had a grey market D7500 for a few years. I like it because it fits my hand, it is light enough to carry all day along with a reasonable selection of lenses, etc., and because it has some features I like (multiple exposure of up to 9 images, better ISO range, and some others) compared to my D7100. I would like a D500, but that is just too big and heavy for my old bones. See seven-oaks.net/dickspics for what I've done with it.

Owner of a D7500 since first introduced. Absolutely performs as expected/specked -- no complaints/issues whatsoever. There has always been the "concern/complaint" that it only has a single memory card slot vs two in earlier D7*** models, but that has never been an issue for me. I upgraded from a D7000 for it, primarily for usability of later model lenses.

I upgraded from a D7100 when the D7500 came out. I grew to distrust the D7100 (twice sent to Nikon for service). As BArthur3 noted, it only has one SD card slot, but the capacities of the newer cards pretty much make up for it. In every other way, the D7500 is an improvement! I went to Greece recently and took some 1,100 photos. I brought a 32GB card with me and a spare. I shoot in both RAW and JPEG, so near the end of my trip, I swapped cards. Not because I really needed to, but because I didn't want to be in the middle of a shoot and need extra (kind of like soldiers who swap magazines that may not be empty, to give them a full load should it become necessary). I tend to shoot through the viewfinder, but there are times the screen comes in handy, and the touchscreen is nice for quick on-the-fly settings changes. All in all, I'm absolutely happy with my D7500!

If you decide you want one, check Nikon's refurbed often. I thought one went for around $700.00 a couple/few weeks ago.

My D7500 was a great camera. But then again, any camera in the hands of a competent photographer is a great camera.
Yes, great results are always POSSIBLE with this camera.

I have a D7500 and a D7100. I love both. I use the D7500 for most shooting, especially where high ISOs are involved, and the D7100 when I know I will be severely cropping. I just wish the D7500 had the sensor with more megapixels.

I spent several years with a D7500 after trading my D850 in. More on that if need be. I loved the 7500. Given my advanced age, I got tired of packing my lenses and camera everywhere I went, so I sold the whole kit and caboodle, and bought a Sony RX10 IV, so I could eliminate the weight, and have one camera that does it all. I’m happy with this great camera like I was with the 7500. Have fun!

Upgraded to one from a 7100 when it came out and for its day it was pretty advanced. Used it until I moved to the Z7II when it was released. I still use mine occasionally but probably should sell it because now that I’ve got a Z9 as well it isn’t being used at all…but sale to MBP or wherever might be so low it isn’t worth it. Still takes great images…but Z and MILC have largely passed it by in terms of capabilities and features…the march of tech progress. If budget is a key issue…or if you’re not interested in or need newer features it is still a good buy…but the 2 lens Z50 kit isn’t much more $$, comes with warranty, and has newer tech with the additional features that come with the Z bodies and mirrorless.

My d7500 has been an excellent camera with lots of capabilities. Would love a z50 2 lens kit, but,alas, exceeds my budget.
