You will need a pair of anaglyph glasses to view in 3D. ( red & cyan lenses.)

Converting two side-by-side photos does produce more separation of images in the scene.

Also well done.
I missed this one too. I like the offset approach since I'm too lazy to make all of the effort you need for a conversion.
