Flower bud opened on Franklinia alatamaha in the backyard by the pond. Japanese beetles got there quickly. Taken with my iPhone 13 Pro Max in Portrait mode.

Glad you enjoyed it. One of my favorite small trees with an interesting story. Native tree, but no longer found in the wild.
