Ah! I kinda figured that Missouri was pretty far south for glaciation. Thank you for your input!

Nice photo of the very interesting, and photogenic Elephant Rocks SP. Very interesting area, nearby is Johnson Shut-ins, as well.

If they are out of character for the area, probably so. But the smooth rounded shapes would imply they were ground around and around by glacial movement or water erosion.

BTW I was asking the OP if his image was of ERSP
I Live approx.12 miles from Elephant Rocks S.P and have photographed both a few times.
