Somehow the key word list panel disappeared when I try to import pictures, but I saw it in my Library Module. I would appreciate any help possible. l tried Ctrl 2 as it was recommended, but it did not work. TIA for any solution.

On the Import dialog, on the right-hand side, should be "File Handling" and any other subpanels you have enabled, including "Apply During Import" that includes a Keywording subpanel. Do you need to 'expand' Apply During Import by clicking the arrow to expand this section to access the Keywording? That arrow that points left should then point down, expanding that panel.

Or, do you need to right-click the top of that right-side panel and reselect the option to Apply During Import, to have that panel re-enabled?

Thanks, but I believe that I also had a list of keywords that I could choose from. I don't see the list and no options for it.

You might be thinking of the similar window in the Library model. Some of the attributes of the images after successful import will support LR guessing at keywords for the new images based on how you keyworded prior images. The empty keyword box in the Import window is indexed so you can type the first or first few letters and generate a list of prior keywords with those leading characters.

Thanks, might have been having a senior moment and mixed up both pages.

Also, if you import images with key words and then decide you want to use a different key word simply select all targeted images in Library Grid mode and add/subtract/change the key words to the desired key words.
