The first two pictures were shot with a DJI Mavic 3 the third one was shot with a DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 back in 2018. The forth pictures was shot in South Africa, if you look real hard you can see two lions. I never got close because I didn't want to spoke the animals. I donated the Phantom 4 to a South African reserve, the poacher now kill the rinos weather or not they have a horn so they don't track a rino who's horn has already been cut off. The reserves now use the drones to hunt the poachers. The Phantom pictures are JPEG and only 3.6 megs in size. The Mavic 3 JPEG file size is 14 megs in size. You get a MUCH MUCH better picture. Drones are extremely dangerous if one is not careful. Any body can fly todays drones. If I am flying near people I tether my drone with a string. EXAMPLE: If I use 50' of string I stand no closer than 75' to any person. Built my first drone in the mid 90s using 4 RC helicopter heads, it took 2 of us to fly it and it was a hand full to fly.

Those pix certainly do NOT move me to get a drone. But if you post them where they belong (Gallery) the custom there requires that everyone award you some complimentary remarks. Try it, and see for yourself. Here in the main discussion section theyre just aerial snapshots.

It takes no guts or brains to be nasty behind a keyboard. Since you were too busy being a troll, you didn't notice the exceptional image quality of the drone photos. Maybe the subject matter didn't float your boat, and the OP could have put them in the gallery, but any method that produces a good photo is worthwhile.

A couple sunnset shots. DJI Mini 2. A friend upgraded to the Air 2 S so he offerd me the Mini 2 with 3 batteries, charger, remote, case and filter set for a hundred bucks. I couldnt resist. Would love to get the new Mini 3, but I have to get my D500 payed off first

What "exceptional image quality" ??? Youre viewing images posted online. Nevertheless, we can "agree to agree" concerning that final line.

Here's a few from a DJI Mavic 2 shot in Provincetown MA a couple years ago. The snow shot was taken with a DJI standard a few years before.

I wanted to take a drone on both of my trips to Africa. I checked on the laws in Namibia and South Africa and was told to leave my drone at home. Apparently, poachers use drones to locate elephants and rhinos. They can even use location data from other drones. I chose to respect the request and left the drone at home.

On my last trip to South Africa I took my Phantom 4 Pro. I had been to South Africa 4 times and my last trip was June of 2019 and all my trips were with a Veterinay group that went to different preserves to help the owners with there animals. I flew from South Africa to Victory Fall and was not allowed to bring my drone in. They made me put it in a locker. I got it back when I left. A couple months back I gave the drone to a preserve so they could hunt poachers. Poachers now kill rinos whether or not they have a horn, because they don't want waste time tracking a rino that does not have a horn. I bought a Mavic 3 and the jpeg photos are much better, 7meg vs 14meg. The picture I shot of lions was at distance and still they were aware of the drone. The second pic I zoomed in so you could see the lions looking at the drone.
