At the Heber City, Utah airport, they had a Horsepower and Airplane show Saturday. There was more Horsepower than Airplanes, but enough to satisfy fans of both. I thought there would be flying, so I took my 70-210 Tamron. That worked out to 105mm equivalent view with my D7100. I could have done better with the 18-140! But... Altogether a good day!
Contemporaries...a'50s VW, and the T-33, "T Bird...the trainer when I was in the Air Force
Beautifully restored Packard Straight Eight
In the Packard...DON'T tailgate!
A Round engine and two wings
Unsure exactly what this is , but it had two seats
Nose art
Friendly lady with the Packard

Very nice set. The planes are nice props for the cars. Now we need a set where the cars are props for the planes. #8 is a Polaris Slingshot.
Very enjoyable series...thanks for sharing!!
Get those aviation pics every chance you can… The monsoon came thru night before last here in Buckeye, AZ and flipped a PBY Catalina on the local airport and really did some bad damage to it the top is where all the expensive moving parts resided. Winds were recorded at just under 80 mph. Just saw the images on the Fox 10 news. That’s a whole lot of airplane to flip and there aren’t enough of those beautiful birds left.
