Windows 7 and Capture One?

Hello all...
I want to buy Capture One but I see it may not be compatible however i read where some people have Capture One with Windows 7 and have no issues at all.
I know my computer is old but it runs fine and I don't want to buy a new one just for software. I tried to upgrade to Windows 10 and that was a disaster, so that's out. Thank you.

They don’t support Window 7 with version 22. Maybe you can get version 21 that works on my Windows 7.

Yep Win 7 is compatible. However you may need to make some alterations
to the PCs registry before the program will download from Phase Ones
C1 site.
The people on the C1 help site can walk you through the process if need be.
Edit: I just read what Selmsie said... and that is spot on too.

I must have been awake too long when I made my first post Marty.
The problem that needed changes to the windows registry was
not the download... the download was problem free, however, when I entered the license code for the "Perpetual"
C1 program I needed to reload (I reinstalled the operating platform on one of my computers
wiping all installed programs); the problem that needed changes to the windows registry was
the acquisition of the "Registration Key".... not the Licence Code but the "Registration Key".
Having said that... C1 has changed some of it's protocols since I needed to change registry settings May 2022,
to access my copy of C1, so God knows what the case is now.
