A great morning imaging the Sun in a clear blue sky. This time with a WO Megrez 90 scope, Herschel Wedge solar filter, 2.5x PowerMate and Point Grey Chameleon camera, mounted on an Evolution mount.

All images are a stack of the best 1% of 1500 frames of (SER) video.

Processed in ImagesPlus, Photoshop and Lightroom.

The 1st image shows the relative size of the Earth.

Looks like you had a very productive morning. Excellent photos.

BTW, is the Earth you pasted in really 1/109 that of the Sun's disk? Just looked a bit large to me, but it has been awhile since I have explored that info. --Richard

It's close to 1/108th the diameter of the Sun but is an approximation.

Nicely imaged. I was thinking if you last week with the large prominence that was visible. I was pleased to see you imaged it as well.
