Red seemed to be a popular color for many of the cars at this year's Caladium Festival Car Show, particularly among the Ford nameplate.
1931 Chevy 3-window Coupe
1936 Ford 5-window Coupe
1940 Ford "Slantback"Sedan
1940 Ford 2dr "Humpback" sedan
1951 Ford DeLuxe Business Soupe
1957 Ford Fairlane 2dr Hardtop
Love me some Fords! The '36 and the '40 in particular.
George
Edit: I think you confused the Slantback and Humpback Fords. They look like the same vehicle.

George, I think you're right about the Ford Sedans, on closer examination I believe they are the same car that I photographed twice under different lighting during several strolls around the site..

Thanks all for looking, more photos, more makes in the next post.
π So much for the old Henry Ford citation "any color as long as it's black" -- which was long a myth having to do with fastest drying time paint color to speed manufacturing but has more recently been set aside.
