Sylvia, I just looked at my post of the old cars that you commented on. It reminded me that after I had been teaching at my local community college for 25 years, I found out that they had been having a British Car Show every summer - and I had been missing it! So I went, got a couple hundred pictures, and it was incredible! As I was leaving the huge, roped-off area of the show, there was a sign which said "Thank you all for attending our final show! We appreciate your patronage all these years!" Drat! Anyway, my first car at 19 was a 1969 Austin American, then a 1969 Ford Cortina, followed by a '76 and then a '78 Triumph TR7. No British cars in the past 42 years.
