That IS one advantage of being near NYC. Another has to be the food. I feel like we're in a food oasis in Dallas. We finally went to a decent Italian restaurant when we were in San Diego in June. The two that WERE decent 30-40 years ago have lost their original owners and passed on to the progeny and gone downhill.
Another has to be the museums. I'm tempted to visit New York for a food and museum trip alone. I'm not sure they make my kind of broadway plays anymore.

I understand. Lived in El Paso for a year and the coast of NC for 13 years. Good thing I cooked and had a music collection.

He did it with Lady Gaga at Radio City Music Hall. It was wonderful. Two days later a reporter asked him how he enjoyed doing the concert and he had no memory of it.

60 minutes did a really nice piece on Tony and Lady Ga Ga about his last concert. He has Alzheimer's, but once on stage or near a piano, he automatically remembers the lyrics, and sings. An amazing artist.
