I would like to connect my fuji xt30 to my Fire 8HD tablet via a USB-C cable. My plan is to mirror the live view in the xt30 to the tablet. My question is how do I do this?
Any help would be appreciated.
I'll be watching for responses to this.
I've been looking into the same sort of setup using my Nikon D500 and a Samsung Galaxy Tab A that is now unused.
So far, I've used the Google Play Store to install a recommended app called Spacedesk. I'm not encouraged by that app because it's telling me it can only connect to a Windows host.
I'll have to revisit my Google search because there were a few apps mentioned that could do this.
There's also the issue of whether or not to use a small powered USB Hub in order to not tax the video output port of the camera.
I might just throw up my hands and go with a dedicated monitor from Amazon.

Why don’t you call Fuji. They will help you. Their support w
Has been very good
Fuji (800) 659-3854.
Given that both the xt30 & your tablet have wifi capabilities, you might try looking at a wireless connection possibility instead of limiting yourself to the cable.

Orphoto, thanks, but wireless connection won't
work either. The Fuji camera remote app will recognize my xt30, but when I select one of the 4 options, it says no connection.

Well Sue, I took you advice and called Fuji. Fuji says the xt30 cannot be tethered to any phone or tablet.
Really hard to believe that fuji doesn't consider the xt30 a studio camera.
