Great series of great looking pups.
Great shots, my little 13lb Rat Terrier would never make it, she would insist that they all bow and pay homage to her.
Excellent series. The only suggestion that I have is to watch the short cropping of the ears.
Fine looking set of pups SWFeral.

Wonderful Dogs and great set of their portraits.......I know that was a fun day. Thanks again.
Thank you. I enjoy watching the classes and will attend them myself if I get another dog.

Dogs have some of the most interesting, expressive and soulful eyes and you captured them beautifully. Also the black and white treatment of the last image was a very creative way to capture the emotion.
Thank you! I had fun with that B/W.
I like that last one too. Concerning the shock collar, the ones now in use aren't like those of yore. They are intended to be a communication tool and give dogs more freedom when they're off leash. Of course any tool can be misused, but the woman who teaches these classes uses them with her Shepherds, whose behavior is exemplary, and instructs her students on their safe and effective use. I have never seen a dog cringe or look upset when the collar is placed around its neck or when the button is pressed; they simply come back to the task. Modern e-collars are more like Tens units, so even though the correction can be set fairly high, dogs don't get zapped and knocked off their feet or anything!
If I get another dog, part of its training will be with an e-collar. If that helps.
