From Quiet Waters Park butterfly garden with the Panasonic G9 and Olympus 60mm macro lens with a Godox TT350 for some punch, Shot in raw and processed with DXO Photolab 4.
These are all probably different individuals since there were hundreds of bees in the one little area and I was shooting the ones that came closest to me.
Not yet been stung.

Beautifully done jwh. I have this equipment, now need the bees! Are these heavily cropped, how close were you to the "action"?

I was right there among them. These are not heavily cropped, they were shot at someplace between 1:2 and 1:4 ratios with 1:1 being lifesize on the sensor. Based on my experience these bees are not aggressive. There was probably around one hundred bees in this particular little clump of flowers and none bothered me.
