In a political ad for the primaries, a local candidate promised, "to make crime illegal"
they walk among us
they breed
they v**e
be afraid
be very afraid
And, politicians have made it pay handsomely.

Unfortunately, considering how many big cities are run and the policies of their DA's it is a valid campaign promise although a bit optimistic.

Republicans have always been masters at turning complex campaign issues into simplistic campaign slogans even if they don't really mean anything or make sense upon analysis.

Heh...since 78% of Democrats think the country is going in the wrong direction...
Whom are you speaking for?
Ahem...there is a direct correlation between our current crime waves and Democrats' flaccid stance on crime...and simply not punishing criminals.
Criminals are mal adjusted...not stupid (mostly).
Not the current Democrat Party...oh...they are stupid...beyond belief.
And I'm an Independent...never v**ed for Trump.

The difference between "unlawful" and "illegal"? One is a sick bird.
I'm not disparaging Republicans, simply commenting on their campaign strategy. Democrats traditionally rely on providing facts and logic to garner v**es while Republicans rely on catchy sound bytes. Both use questionable slogans to promote their platforms but the Republicans seem better at it.
And I'm an Independent, too.

There are "Stupid" in all "parties". We call them indiscriminate v**ers.

That's almost as funny as a certain Texas republican stating "“Rape is a crime, and Texas will work tirelessly to make sure that we eliminate all rapists from the streets of Texas by aggressively going out and arresting them and prosecuting them and getting them off the streets.”
