Natural light photoshoot. Having a hard time getting a catch light in the eyes. Any suggestions?
I have put them in using Photoshop elements. It has worked for me in the past

Maybe a touch of fill flash?
Natural light is not always an appropriate solution especially when dealing with a broad tonal range.
How would I have setup in this scenario?
ND Filter to tame ambient... and a shoot through Umbrella Key slightly above and in front of her (think BD here)...
The real issue is Natural Light is so totally unpredictable...
And is almost never ever used on commercial assignments...
Only the architectural shooters I assist shoot natural light and they actually have software that will predict where shadows with fall during the course of the day and what there length will be at any given moment...
For portraiture always shoot with a lighting assistant... Experience is a brutal teacher...
btw, elegant wardrobe styling.... epic color harmonies...
Catch-lights? A rouge flashbender would easily put the sparkle in her eyes...
I've used a generic model will epic success...

Thanks for responding to my posting. I usually have a flash with me and use it indoors and/or outdoors. I favor Demp FlipIt bounce card. Unfortunately, they have gone out of business. I have been reading this book “the Natural Light Portrait book” by Scott Kelby and wanted to try out some of his techniques.
