The wildlife is not nearly as cooperative as it is in Yellowstone or RMNP.
The bear was almost at dark, so rather noisy. The one crossing the river was far away!
But I found a few things to take photos of, enjoy.

Spent several trips to that area for horse camping in the Weminuche Wilderness back in the 1980’s. Beautiful area. Even owned a lot just outside Pagosa Springs until a few years ago when we sold it. Back in 1987 there was a Tex-Mex restaurant in Bayfield bought by a couple from San Antonio, Tx. That had great food. Wonder if it is still there. You live in beautiful country that I’m sure offers great photographic opportunities.

Have never seen a Pink Indian Paint Brush, around here they are Bright Red or Yellow.
