Thanks all for sharing. I had a half dozen or so hammers on the garage floor and a shot of a bowl of beads from Bar Harbor, ME. Thought they might go together somehow.

They did.....Just not well.

This past week, a local group challenged each other to go to a local park with a man made waterfall, independently, capture a few unique compositions and try and breathe a little life into them. Also included is an old grain elevator I shot last Sunday, a sunset and a nice sunset shot of the Sunset Sonata that was held in the waterfall park. A fun week getting out for some captures!

Chuck had to go down to MD this past Saturday to attend the quarterly Presbyter meeting and I went along for the ride. Since LaVale is a four hour drive and Presbytery begins at 9am we went down the day before and stayed in nearby Meyersvale, PA. Here are some shots from the area's point of interest, the Salisbury Viaduct. At 908' long, the first train crossed it in 1912, it was decommissioned in 1975 and converted for trail use in 1998.

page #4 always wondered what the Mason Dixon Line looked like

While Chuck and our pastor were busy with the Presbytery meeting, his wife and I drove over to Cumberland where the C&O canal was and also an old railway station. We happened to be there when the train pulled in and wanted to take the round trip but didn't b/c it took four hours and we weren't sure when the meeting would end. It was horribly hot that day and when I picked up Chuck he stepped out of the airconditioned church into temps in the upper 90's - what a shock!!

page #4 travel log well done I'd love to be there too

That wasn't the Mason Dixon Line, just a road named for it. We passed the Line on our way down to LaVale from Meyersvale where we spent the previous night. I wasn't expecting it and so wasn't able to photograph it.

3 from Wednesday's trip to Portsmouth New Hampshire for a cruise out to the Isle of Shoals. The Isle of Shoals are a group of 9 islands on the Maine/New Hampshire border (5 in Maine, 4 in New Hampshire) that are about 6 miles off the coast of Portsmouth. Beautiful day for cruising out to the islands with seas running 2 feet or less, and a very pleasant breeze. These are SOOC, and I probably should have corrected the second one for the horizon tilt.
Comments, suggestions, updated examples are welcome.........I've got a lot to learn!
