Ronnie, I think I remember you mentioning in one or more of your posts that you were shooting this same equipment. I've been experimenting, trying to improve my photos and feel the equipment gives me all the tools I need to get better. I'll be watching for your postings. Looking forward to it. jak

rockdog, sorry you haven't been able to get out much. Hope you are finding some good reasons to get out there and stretch your creative skills again. I was lucky for over 2 years to avoid Covid-19 but came down with it in early July (about a week after I had surgery)a. Took me about 2 weeks to get over it (test Negative) but only about 3 days until my symptoms went away and I began getting out of the house (by myself) along with my camera. I'm fine now and am enjoying my photography almost every day. I wish you the best of motivation to get back out there and see what you can create. jak

cedymock, your kind comments are greatly appreciated. Sometimes I take the photos but don't really get grabbed by one until I get home and see it on the computer. This hummingbird photo was one where I thought I had caught something special and was really happy with the way it turned out. I couldn't see cropping any part of that branch out without losing some of the impact. After cropping, that left me with the long, horizontal frame. Glad you liked it too. The weather is beautiful at the moment just like a normal summers day however, we are going to have high temps again next week! Posted some flowers the other day that managed to survive the last heat wave! Enjoy your weekend and happy shooting jak.
