Immature house finch?

These immature/female sparrow-like guys are difficult for me to ID. Appreciate an ID from you "birders". I think it is a immature house finch. These guys/gals are having a field day with this fig tree. But my reason for posting this is because I like the image. IMO, nice pose and background. It was getting late in the morning as you can tell with the light getting high, but still not too bright to make it too harsh. Sony A1, 600mm f/4 w/ 1.4x, 1/3200, f/5.6, ISO 1250.
