I sold my Nikon D3100 on Craigslist Wednesday the 31st of Oct. and ordered off of eBay a barely used (less than 500 shutter actuation's) Nikon D90 body, with a Buy-It-Now bid of less than $500 including shipping. Got it VIA Priority Mail, Friday the 2nd of Nov. and immediately went into the house, opened it up, put the battery in the charger and "READ THE MANUAL" learned what I needed to go start using the D90 and took this Sunset Photo with it. Not bad for a first effort with a "new" camera. I think I am going to like the D90 a lot!
My D5000 is dedicated to my macro set-up, but my D90 is my workhorse, used for all other photography.
I to love my D90! Have learned digital with it, and have gotten many great shots!! Love the sunset!! Worry that it is getting "tired" and have looked at other newer, but still think if it goes into retirement, will replace with another D90!
You got a very good buy, and took a very nice shot. Happy shooting!
Great shot very vivid colors.
I have a D90 and carry it with me all the time. Looking at buying another body. Congrat's!

Thanks Laurie! What body are you considering on getting next a FX or a DX body?
Love my D-90. Especially for low light situation. Don't be afraid to kick you ISO up. I have very good results up to 1600. Of course it light permits I use a lower setting
Good shooting
[quote=madcapmagishion]It's a nice sunset, but the silouette in the forground should be bigger.

Really? Those foreground silhouettes are about 1/4 of a mile away from where I was shooting from. And for a 50mm f/1.8I think they are perspective!
Some more captures with my D90 using my new (to me)
70-300mm f4-5.6G Lens
