We have been noticing recently some strange lights in the eastern sky about 2am. Because there are so many tree leaves in our line of sight, they are not always visable and if the leaves are moving in the wind, we can't really be sure of what we are seeing. But on a calm night though, one will appear and will glow for 4-5 seconds, then fade. About 10 seconds later it will appear again but slightly to the north (Left). This pattern repeats for about an hour.
Can anyone tell us what we are seeing? I searched on line and found that some people in Wisconsin have seen something that turned out to be SpaceX but the photos they posted looked like streaks of light rather than points, possibly due to a long exposure?? Could this be a solar collector picking up sunlight? It would need to be at a pretty high altitude for that, I would think.
Anyway, would appreciate any ideas. Thanks.
Alien spacecraft, spying on your neighbors across the way.

Definitely! That's the only logical explanation.

It is possible it is satellites. The starling system has been seen several times from our house along with the space station.
Thanks for your reply. Will research that.
