Yesterday's afternoon shots

Western Pondhawks
Erythemis collocata

The last shot is a very young male. He will lose most of the green and his abdomen will turn blue like the two in the first shots. The lighting was pretty bad for that last shot but it's included to show the color change.

I really like your shots! So pretty and since I am in Oregon too I better start looking around...I have seen Blue ones before...a Blackbird was eating one. Just getting started shooting Dragonflies.
