Dinner: I watched a video on how to do high key photos. This was may attempt and I liked this in color as opposed to B&W. The second is obviously a B&W version. Thoughts?

Photolady2014 Loc: Southwest Colorado

I watched a video on how to do high key photos. This was may attempt and I liked this in color as opposed to B&W.
The second is obviously a B&W version.

Thoughts?

I saw the b&w in the Black and White Forum first, and found it to be perfect

The color shot, with the whole bird and touch of water ripples is pretty darned perfect too!

Both are nice, but I like the position of the ornamental head feathers on the first shot better. I would choose the first shot, doing the crop and B&W conversion on that but not quite as tight.

Both are excellent. The detail on the second is amazing. The first is just plain beautiful.
