Lotus Elise captured at the Lotus car show at St. Armands Circle in Sarasota Florida.
Dream on guys & gals.

I don't think much of the color but a great can and very nicely shot
Nicely photographed. A completely useless vehicle to me, though.

Thanks Ken. You think it might pull a bush hog??

Nice work!
My first job out of high school was working on a Lotus racing team. We had a formula car and the owner drove a Lotus Elan. Lotus has frequently been overlooked in the era of supercars with 1000+ horsepower. Their auto philosophy has always been smaller and lighter. They are "drivers' cars" rather than museum pieces.
Nice, and something one doesn't too often.

Thatβs why sports cars are so much fun. Why drive around in a boring box all the time.
Great shots Don. Thanks for posting.
I used to own a 1973 Lotus Europa John Player Special. What a car. Fiberglass body so light it needed 2 gas tanks
for balance. One on each side right behind the cockpit. Only problem was the Lucas electric system. Always a surprise. You turned on the headlight switch and you may have gotten the windshield wiper. :-))
Famously unreliable
The car has exceptional styling, but the fashion statement of all those contrasting black body parts break up those flowing lines and make it look like a jumbled mess, IMO π©. Nice photographs, nonetheless!
