Caught this big rodent eating our flowers about 6 am yesterday.
My wife yelled at her and she just stood and looked then sauntered off.
No rush.

There are motion activated water sprayers that work pretty well, as does one of my old pellet guns!

Nice shot...plant some butterfly bushes...the deer haven't nibbled on any of ours.

We tried one year and they didn't do too well for some reason.
Perhaps again, a neighbor literally had his entire yard just about wiped out.
We have a fence that seems to discourage all but the most determined. Not hard to get over but with food all around they do not seem eager to get over it.

We tried electric fences around my husband's 2 huge gardens...finally got tired of messing with them. If the deer are hungry enough they're going to get to the flowers no matter what.

Get your barber to save hair clippings. Mulch your flower beds with the clippings. The overpowering human scent will generally keep the away.

Just thinking about it, dog clippings would probably work just as well. You might have a dog groomer save you some clippings. Scattering them on the ground around the flowers would blend in with the dirt or mulch and should do the job. Worth a try.
