As do I! Living here all these years, and the light was never just right for me to see it. Out early with Mr. Puppy and there it was! Petrified Mountain Lion, Not, but a fun attraction.

I wasn't sure if you had possum there or not.
Looking at the dark image, it looks like a long snout, with two dark eyes way back behind the pointy type snout.

I think it gets too cold here in the Winter. State info says introduced but not established.
