Neither The sun rays steal the show, as do the ultra-white clouds in #2. Maybe #1 without rays would support your gorgeous vultures.

Ok. I tried two variations. I took out the sun rays on both. The blue sky I did a curves adjustment. knocking down some of the white clouds. I am up in the air about the changes. Perhaps they will grow on me.

They still look somewhat unnatural but I would say I prefer the first redo.

I realize the clouds are pretty dramatic. I am looking at todays clouds and they look pretty dramatic. Much appreciate your take on these shots.

Thank Fran. I think most of my composites fall under some do and don’t care for them

I love both since I love vultures, basically the only bird that I can easily shoot and get some great shots. They are not skittish but curious and give some looks that really photograph well πŸ₯‡πŸ₯‡πŸ₯‡πŸ₯‡πŸ₯‡

I live in suburbia, and most days I will see at least a couple flying around. Along with their cousin the turkey. yes I know they are not cousins. Both have adapted well.
