How do these figures compare with what you are getting...I reckon these speeds are pretty good from what others have told me they get...
I thought I'd check because having the same speeds pretty much every day, this site (UHH) seems to run quite slow at times...I notice it especially when I open "Newest Pictures" each page is quite slow to load.
I get 66.5 down and 11.8 up.
But we're not paying for premium speeds.
The 66 down is fine for what we do. I don't see an abhorrent delay loading pages here.
I don't notice any great delay updating my website or sending images, which I don't do a lot.
But everyone's needs and expectations are different.

On a good day, around 123 Mbps download and 11.8 Mbps upload. Spectrum. Supposedly we're on a 200 Mbps plan, but our old cable modem probably limits it. (We own the modem.)
I just checked. 120 down and 11.6 up. That's over 5GHz WiFi through a ceiling and a wall or two. The 2.4 GHz channel is running 68 down and 10.6 up.

Your large upload speed seems peculiar, as I, like most, get about 12 (which is usually adequate for upload). What provider do you use? I have an insanely large pipeline as there's a lot going on in the house at any one time. Likely overkill, but hey, speed kills :)

Escapenet, a local company that uses the NBN (National Broadband Network) I like the fast upload...

Looks a bit slow compared to what I get here.
UHH always loads pretty quickly. I use Firefox as browser if thats relevant.

Unfortunately, the best Spectrum can provide for me is 200 down and 10 up, and it benchmarks at almost exactly that. Before Spectrum bought TWC (Time Warner cable), I had 200 down and 100 up over the same link. No clue why Spectrum changed the upload, but I’m REALLY glad I did the initial “seeding” of my Amazon S3 cloud account before the change, because now it’s dog slow uploading new data - I just start it as a background task and let it run all night if necessary. Google Fibre is only a few blocks away, but not sure if they’re willing to trench up my 500’ driveway to install the Fibre. It’s symmetrical Gbit (1,000 up and down), but even if I can get it, my wife and I would lose our Roadrunner email addresses (which we’ve had since the beginning of email) unless we pay for both, and that’s a BIG issue for us (my wife has had her account so long it’s just her first name@…).

Yeah, compared to what I see in this thread..
Most of New Zealand is on fibre optic cable now for telephones/data. Urban areas anyway. Being domestic useage we have just the normal least cost plan, businesses have faster. During the night is when I do any loads to my website, not very often I must say, but when I do the big files move incredibly fast, compared to when we were on copper cable.

Your email conundrum is why we had to change to GMail when fibre optic started to roll out around New Zealand. That way we could shift our provider plan to the cheapest whenever they started to offer 'deals'. But it was a hassle for awhile until everyone had our updated GMail address. Now we can change providers without any problems.
