Yeah ... nope.
It's the Conservative mindset that forces police to be petty nasty cowards afraid of Americans.
They're first obligation is to keep themselves safe- out of harm's way.
You want to blame somebody, blame the Red Slime Republicans for foisting their "us vs them" mentality.

After spending over 30 years with police officers and the like I cannot tell you effectively how wrong and full of crap you are. I am doing my best to tone it down so as not to arouse the ire of Admin. But take that comment and multiply it by 100 times and you will have some sort of clue.

I have never met even one cop who is afraid of Americans, never met even one who would not have done all things possible to save someone, even YOUR cowardly ass. Like the lying corrupt Left Winger you show us you are you cherry pick this one incident to push your anti police agenda and then use lies to further your cause. How typically anti American you are on the Left. How DNC of you to forget police officers have a right to think they will get to go home to their families every day when possible. Yet you do your best to deny them that right. Aren't you just special little Spanky.

Take a look back my FOOLISH lying corrupt friend. It was Obama who pushed the narrative that police were bad while all b****s were good, Obama who did his best, only to be followed by the Biden Administration to create division among Americans. Look it up. You have never seen anti police sentiment from Conservatives unless it was Liz Cheney or Adam Kinzinger, both key spokesmen for the Left.

Answer this, George, if you dare. If you get your wish, and all firearms were banned, how would you, George, if it were in your power, get them all collected? I don’t mean from law abiding citizens only, but from the criminals running around on our streets with stolen firearms.

Anyone who thinks stricter gun legislation is aimed at confiscating guns from criminals is missing the point entirely. The aim is to keep guns out of the hands of nutcases who become criminals when they go over the edge. Right now the system of "background checks" fails dismally due to privacy laws and the lack of cooperation/sharing of databases between the various law enforcement and medical agencies. It should not be a violation of privacy for a doctor to share the diagnosis of a mental condition, or police to share arrests or incidents of domestic violence, etc, with those agencies responsible for doing background checks regarding the application to purchase a firearm. The "right to life" of the general public should supersede any right of a nutcase to have his mental health information kept private so that he can enjoy his 2nd Amendment "fun k*****g spree."

You are correct John but in a foolish way. You are correct in that the Left has no desire whatsoever to confiscate guns from criminals. They know that would be futile. No, the Left's desire is to confiscate guns from lawful honest citizens. That is the target of the Left. Criminals come and go. Take a look at how the Left does nothing to stop criminal behavior these days all across the country. In San Francisco police are forbidden from arresting criminals on many charges, theft being one of them. Thieves just walk into a store and take what they want and walk out. The police can be standing right there, watching them do it. No arrest, no NOTHING at all. How does that sound to you my friend? How would like your city in Canada to treat criminals as if they were immune from law enforcement? Does that work for you?

You are correct but positively, NO Really, in that you agree with the NRA in your idea of mental health problems should definitely be available to law enforcement for firearm background checks. I agree with you too, so do millions of honest citizen firearm owners. But now take a look at the hold up. Yes, once again you are correct. It is your very own Left Wing anti American Democrats who are balking at changing the law to allow mental health records to be used in background checks. Presently then someone who has threatened to k**l others and who was locked in a mental institution for evaluation due to the threats is able to purchase a firearm. Thanks Democratic Party for being completely anti safety for Americans.
