I believe this is an example of a layered image.
I choose to use 4 layers.
Shot full manual with a Sony A7C and a tokina 400mm F/8 mirror lens
I don't understand what you mean by "layered image".
It's an interresting image. There are at least three layers of interrest in the photo, foreground, city and mountains (four layers if you sepertae mountains and sky) but did you mean to say focust stacked?

No, no focus stacking.
By shooting with 400mm F/8, I could find a composition where four very distinct layers werve visible:
1) The foreground, mostly green
2) The city, somewhat blue
3) Th hills, very bue
4) The sky, a different shade of blue.
