Yes I do like. You had a great morning in the early light. Now I know why you park your RV close at hand.

Thanks Hereford! Yep, we are parked a 30 minute drive from the gate to the Wildlife Drive. We can get up at 6AM, on the road at 6:30 and at the gate when they open it at 7AM. It's full daylight at 7AM, but later in the year it will be just sunrise when the gate opens, so it's all good!

I always have a hard time picking a favorite with a post like this! Usually it doesn't happen. And I'm usually surprised when other people single out one out of the bunch. But not this time! Yeah, I agree with you. Thanks texan!

Quite. variety, Chief. Looks as if you found a target rich environment. I think all of our birds in Arizona packed up and ready went home with the snow birds. I really like the black crowned night heron. I stalked one in Palo Alto , CA for a week and he hung out under heavy cover forever. Head and shoulders was the best I ever got. Great set.

Thank you very much! Yes, it's been an unusual year for us here so far. The past couple years the Black Crowned Night Herons have been few and far between. And the Lesser Bitterns as well. This year we are seeing a half dozen or more of both of them on each trip through the wildlife drive. And so far, zero Kingfishers! I guess we will just have to keep plodding through! I'm glad you liked the photos!
