Sue, really like your bee shot. Great job. My tiny garden is a little slow this year, but with the hotter weather, I may be able to get some bee and bug shots too.

I don't get it, buy I love your capture. I will probably figure it later. My cat is Mikey. Mikey does not like it most of the time. Get it?

Since it's so hot everywhere at the moment, I thought I'd look back for some wintry photos. That took me to my Alaska collection. I stopped at this one, no snow; this one was taken in late fall at the edge of downtown Anchorage, near Cook Inlet. A study in contrasts:

Last night was Senior Picture shoot Part1 for my eldest grandson. He knows just what he wants - his favorite mower on his favorite mountain and his favorite huge work truck in a quarry - all where he works and has gone with his Dad since childhood. Tonight is part 2 - at the other grandparents' farm with some of the animals..I have 250 shots to cull. Some are just for fun...

WOW! That last image really got my attention, Pat! Love all of them!

Nothing better than a field of sunflower seeds getting ready to harvest.... and yes I was able to view the video.

The sunflowers are always fun to roam around in. I try and get out every year if I can.
