Have any of the members use a Light Balancing Filter or a Night Pollution Filter? I was told that the night pollution filter, filters out the yellows when you take nighttime photos. Just need your advice as to which filters work better when you are taking nighttime photos, also do you still use your UV filter when taking night photos?
I have a Breakthrough Dark CPL and a B+W red light filter for my D800. For my RedCat51 telescope, I use an iOptron L-Extreme Dual Band filter 9 ( 2" ), to pass Hydrogen and Oxygen light wavelengths.
While nothing beats a Bortle 2 sky, these filters can make a difference.
