Great set!!!
Really like #5

Thanks. That little dog in #5 is quite the character, just absolutely full of herself and convinced that training is a waste of her time.

Your photos are splendid especially the ones of dogs looking straight at the camera. Your memories of Ted are evidence of your love for him but you are far from being alone in loving dogs. Dogs are unique in loving us humans unconditionally! They are so special! P.S. I would love to show them to my readers via my blog, any chance of you giving me permission?

Thank you for asking, and I'm fine with you sharing these. I am so impressed with the level of concentration I see in this class, both from the dogs and their owners. It's a far cry from other classes I've attended which were mostly like a paid version of socializing at a dog park.

Great job! In my humble opinion we can always use more dog pictures.

It took me 7 years to replace Zella. My biggest fear was that the dog might out live me. Then my health began to deteriorate and I had to move in with daughter and grandson. The Doctor I worked with, wife, breed german shepherds and knew how much I loved the breed and missed having a dog. She gifted us with Princess. Since Princess was now part of a family of four I didn't have to worry about her being left alone.

I am still dogless after more than two years (some of you remember Ted) but I have started attending a dog training class with a friend to fill the gap. Of course I can't just sit there, so I asked permission to bring my camera and zoom lens. I'm no pro at dog portrait photography, but I had fun getting these shots of some good-looking subjects. You can see they are all concentrating very hard.

I say I asked permission to take photos, and I did, but it was after someone suggested "it would be nice" if I brought my camera.

Jim,

That's a lovely story. Of you and your family and, of course, of GSDs. Here's a link to my departed Pharaoh, a very special dog: https://learningfromdogs.com
