Yesterday morning I went to open my gun safe and the battery was dead!! No big deal yeah right, no matter what I tried I could not get to the battery.
Placed a call to Liberty customer service service, the call was answered by a very nice young lady , after we tried all of the "normal " methods she said just break the lip on the battery compartment, just be careful to not damage the keypad.
The normal method is to turn the black plastic bezel to the left the slide the bezel off, no joy next squeeze the sides and turn to left, nope, next slide the keypad up bingo!! now remove the three screws and take the back off, yep that right screws removed the the bezel won't budge, Next cut the small lip off the back, nippers did a great job!! now slide the ring off yeah right prying with a screwdriver the keypad was open, replaced battery and opened safe.
A new keypad is being shipped to me at no cost,Plus they are going to upgrade the keypad and set up an appointment with a lock smith to install it, again no charge.
I am able to open the safe with the wrecked keypad.
Good to know that there is still good customer service out there.
Yep, my thoughts exactly.
Good thing you didn't need to get a gun out in a hurry!

Yes, because they have a universal code that opens all those room safes.
I bought a Liberty safe but got it with the old fashioned S&G dial. Not nearly a convenient .
I am concerned about something just like your trouble and EMP.
You never know...
Manglesphoto, I'm with you on this. One good service experience outweighs the dozens that aren't. It's not difficult to build a successful business. All it takes is to treat the customers well and to give them more than they expected and they will become customers forever and willing to pay the fair asking prices.
