My oldest son moved to Amsterdam 6 years ago and we went to visit him three years ago. Here are some photos from that trip.

We visited Amsterdam briefly as the start of a Viking River Cruise 6 or 7 years ago. Interesting and enjoyable city as long as we appreciated that bikes rule. Going back this September and your images reminded us how much we’re looking forward to the trip. Thanks for sharing.
Nice images.
There was a restaurant from South Africa near the 'opera' section of the city...passed by it on a dozen trips every time.
They served Lion, Zebra...you name it. Always meant to eat there...just couldn't ever get hungry enough.
Beautiful city, been there many times since 1983. You have a nice set.
A great photo is one from the canal leading to the Zuiderkerk church. A photo like that is a similar view of the famous painting of Monet of the same church.
One difference is that when Monet painted it there were no cars on the streets adjacent to the canals. If you go back take it. I have mine printed on canvas.
Nice set. I took a trip to Amsterdam while I was in the US Army. It was during the Tulip Festival and I consider that to be one of the most beautiful places I have ever been.
Beautiful set! The tulips get my vote for #1.
