Something that I really like about Win11 is the less fiddly way of accessing your virtual desktops. It also allows me to choose separate wallpaper for each one.

What is a virtual desktop?
And what is the advantage of having multiples of it?
All desktops are “virtual”.
Traditionally, only one was supplied by the operating systems.
Windows 11 allows you to have multiple desktops, acting like additional computers!
In my work, I normally use three monitors - one for trouble logs, one for eight separate chat rooms, and one for reference files.
When I have to use only my laptop, I put the contents of each monitor on a separate desktop and rock back forth between them to duplicate my usual three screens.
Each desktop can run applications independently of the other desktops.
Even better is the ability to run different iterations of the SAME software in different windows.
For example, I can run two iterations of PhotoShop, completely independently, by opening a copy on two diffferent desktops.
The biggest advantage to me, so far, is the ability to open many windows and see them without having to use a magnifying glass.
