I was having an issue with my Lightroom Classic 11.4 - after it was updated. I could not do a Library search for a file name or keyword. I did a search on UG and found a post with the Adobe phone number. 800-833-6687. I called the number and almost immediately connected with a tech support person. She had me delete LRC and reinstall it. She did a remote login to my computer and connected to the LR Catalog. It was a short time and LR came up. I did some searches on keyword and file name and it worked just fine.

In the 10 years that I have had LR (subscription), this is the first time I have had to call them for tech support.

The young lady I was talking to was in India. I fully understood her English speaking just fine. She was very knowledgeable and very helpful.

I will have to say the tech support Adobe offered was excellent.

Since you started the topic, I will add that Adobe is very serious about tech support. They have multiple layers. One is their online forums full of expert users for all of their applications. You found the phone support layer. Similar is https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen.

No, it is not perfect. Sometimes the support system will get busy and response might be slow. But, generally, Adobe does well at making sure their customers get what they need.

FWIW, the I think the big boss at Adobe is also Indian.

I was pleased with the support from Adobe. I have only called once in my years of the subscription service. The gentleman I spoke with had an accent, but I understood him completely. He took control of my computer, found the problem and fixed same. It turns out it was Microsoft, not Adobe that had caused the problem. He even called back the next day to make sure I was happy, and all was OK. Great Service.
