Yes, I was stationed in Bremerhaven in 71-72.

Had a 70’s model in Germany. Mine was British racing green. Loved the car.Interior was super nice. The back seat had a rap around back. Never saw another interior like it—beautiful! Never a moments problem.

Beautiful! When stationed in England knew a guy that bought a new one. His was a CSI. Different color than that. Best car on that air base... by far.

I had a 1974 2002. Great car. Back then when I saw another BMW on the highway we flashed our lights at each other.

A 71 2002 for me (my first new car after a lot of used British cars - a revelation) and yes, we flashed our lights also - there were only 3 in my city. I always wanted a CS coupe. Lovely car although I couldn’t live with one in orange.

Nice photos of a terrific car. My dad and I used to go to the BMW dealer every now and then and check them out. This one was a favorite. He always wound up buying another Lincoln but going to look at these are good memories.
