Bathing loon

Spent 3 days photographing loons in Minnesota. On 2 lakes we found a loon going through all sorts of motions, diving, rolling over, thrashing about in the water. It appeared as if something was wrong. The next day we found on a different lake another loon going through the same motions, but just not as frantic. Jackie, who was with me, did a quick search and found that this behavior was loons bathing!
